I hope to be there, my new hours really suck! I may end up missing the 1st half.

I have the day off, it's more of a child care issue. I wasn't going to bring my son, but if I can't find anyone to watch him, I might be stuck. I e-mailed Nick to see if it was ok for me to bring him if it came to that. I think it would be too much for him and I don't want to be the guy bringing his kid everywhere, but like I say, I might be stuck on this one.

And just like that, I can't go. Last minute assistant instructor gig for LAR turned up, the regular instructors are in a bind and can't get any of their regular instructors to go to Nevada City to help with the hands on portion of the class on Saturday, June 20th, so needless to say my son will probably end up hanging out with grandma that day, not the best result, but oh well.

Hopefully it will be an informative day at the symposium, wish I could go and talk about the possibility of getting together an established group. I would only hope there would be more meetings about getting a group going, but these last minute teaching gigs have a way of coming up at the last minute.

Me too, I just can't get out of work! I hope it is a success and will open the door to more discussion about our obscure hobby.
